Happiness is an internal feeling and you don’t need anyone or anything to be happy. You can create your own happiness in life. Sometimes it can feel like life isn’t going the way you want it to, but it’s always good to remember that just like tides, emotions ebb and flow and happiness can wax and wane for all of us.
Here are some of my tips to help encourage happiness-
Move your body- Next time when your mind is experiencing negative thoughts, put on some music and have a 5 minute boogie by yourself! Your body will release endorphins and bring positive energy back to your day.
Be nice to yourself and talk to yourself like you would a friend- It is hard to be truly happy when you are being mean to yourself. Our inner critics can pick at ourselves and lower our self-esteem.
Doing things you enjoy is good for your wellbeing,whether it’s taking a bath, reading a book or doing some crafts, just do what makes you happy.
Talk and share- talking things through with friends, family or a counsellor helps you release emotions you are holding inside.

Learn to love yourself
