Stress is one of the biggest factors which contributes to bad skin. In a recent study, approximately 50% of people with acne reported an emotional trigger to their breakouts. 80% of those with eczema state that stress causes their eczema to be more troublesome.
There is a two-way communication between the brain and skin and so your skin reflect’s what you are feeling inside. Practices like mindfulness and meditation can actually have a huge transformative effect on overall skin condition.
To improve your mind to body state..here are some tips-
-Drink plenty of water – hydrate your skin and flush out all of the toxins.
-Meditation- various studies have proven that breathing techniques or mediation have been used successfully in a variety of skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.
-Movement- Yoga/pilates is a great way to destress and relax.
-Eating a well-balanced diet can boost your mood and your skin.
