It has been a busy time at The Granary Spa recently, which of course is a good thing, but sometimes it can be harder to take time to look after ourselves.
Self care is very important. Taking care of our physical and spiritual health is not a luxury, it’s a necessity!
Just taking time out of a busy schedule to slow down and relax can help us in many ways.
My self care ideas to try:
-Do a hobby you enjoy, make time for it and don’t feel guilty
-Spend time in nature, wrap up warm and sit in the sunshine (when able!)
-Eat well (and healthy) homemade soups and stews packed full of superfoods
-Regular sleep routine
-Exercise – YouTube has some great workouts
-Run yourself a bubble bath and light your favourite fragrant candle, hot chocolate and music – lush!
After all, when we take care of ourselves, it makes us a better, happier person 🙂
