After my challenging week, I decided to look into the benefits of seeing the positives in a negative situation. Studies have identified a link between positivity and good health. Focusing on the good in your life can have a positive impact on your mental and physical wellbeing. Having a positive outlook/attitude can help us cope with negative situations in a more effective way. Negative emotions can weaken our immune system. If you are wondering what my challenging week consisted of.. somebody drove into my car and caused damage which was very irritating to say the least. But on a positive note, no one was hurt,my car has been repaired and was returned beautifully clean inside and out!

How to practice positive thinking?
*Journalling- In my journal, it has a section each day ‘3 things you are grateful for today’. By doing this, you pay attention to the good things in your life.
*Focus on your strengths
*Surround yourself with positive people
*Glass half fun mentality
*Look back at funny videos (or on YouTube) I’m sure this will help you smile and laugh!
