Have you ever felt like your life is stuck on repeat, the same routine every day? We all need time for holidays or time off from work to break our routine.Our brain removes joy and happiness to save energy when we become fixed in the same routine. This is why as you get older you feel time passes quicker.Travel relieves stress and boosts our mental health. It resets our body and mind and boosts our creativity.It doesn’t have to be an expensive holiday to feel the benefits. Sometimes a weekend away staying with friends or family is enough. My brother and his family are travelling from the USA, surprising my parents next week. So I have booked some time off work to just spend at home with them and I can’t wait! This helps us live not just a longer life, but a fuller life.
