Ashford Business Woman Scoops Business Award!

The Granary Spa is very proud to announce that Kent Business Woman of the Year 2014 was awarded Clare Singleton, the Granary Spa owner at the KWIB awards ceremony held on 27th March at the Great Danes Hotel in Hollingbourne.

Clare was nominated by one of her clients for her determination, business growth and consistent focus on customer service which has seen her customer base more than double since the Granary Spa opened its doors in September 2012.

Clare said “I was delighted to be nominated and even completing the application paperwork gave me the opportunity to look at my business and really focus on the things that we do differently here. It is second nature to the team but actually the surroundings that we are in, the organic products and holistic therapies that we offer coupled with our strong customer service ethic really does set us apart”

Clare continues “I didn’t for a second think that being shortlisted would lead to actually winning the award, I was sure that we would have a lovely time at the awards ceremony but we wouldn’t take home a runners up accolade, let alone being crowned Kent Business Woman of the Year, I didn’t even prepare a speech! My team has been wonderful, as have all of our customers. I couldn’t do this without them and this really has been a dream come true for me. I have learnt so much in the last few years and I can’t wait for the Granary Spa to start the next chapter, this award is a real honour and I would recommend any Kent business woman to apply next year, it really has been a great experience”
